For over 20 years there has been an annual lunch for BBME ex Foreign Staff. Originally held in The Oriental Club, it was transferred in 2021 to Al Maroush, a Lebanese restaurant in Beauchamp Place near Harrods. This event, normally held in early September, is open to anyone who has served overseas with the BBME.

Any ex BBME Foreign Staff member/wife who has not attended the lunch before but would like to do so should contact either Ray Webber, Norman Wilson or Vaughan Dennis (details in the retired Staff Directory). We typically have 30-40 attendees each year and it is always a great occasion to catch up and keep in touch with old friends and colleagues.

Apres lunch drinks are the ‘norm’ at The Bunch of Grapes pub (just around the corner on Brompton Road)
